Welcome to the mega entole blog, where I hope to post regularly on the topics of leadership and ministry. My new blog title comes from the Greek meaning Great Commandment. And the Great Commandment simply states that human beings ought to wholeheartedly love God, unconditionally love their neighbors, and correctly love themselves (Matthew 22:36-40).
Understanding that only Christ can be leader (Matthew 23:10), the basis for our leadership conversations must be in recognition of and submission to Christ as Lord. Our leadership model comes from Christ who submitted Himself to the Father (John 14:31) and led from the humble position of a loving servant.
Thus, our model for Christian leadership is called Great Commandment Leadership. It is leadership based on the love of God.Please check in often and join in our ongoing conversation of what it means to become Great Commandment Leaders.
